On Monday, I took the girls roller skating for the first time.  I wasn't sure how it would all play out.  Maisie typically gets quite frustrated if she is not perfect the first time she does something... so it was a complete surprise that she not only took to the skates... kept falling down.. kept getting up again... and so on and so on for the better part of two hours.  Not ONCE did she get frustrated.  She kept getting right back up on her feet to start again... and by the end of our session, she had graduated from taking baby steps on her skates, to full on skating around the rink.  What a great lesson for all of us to remember that when life knocks you down on your bottom... get back up and get rolling !!!
