The fourth of July takes on a new meaning when two members of our family were born in a different country.  This year, the holiday gave me a chance to talk to Maisie about freedom and the sacrifices that others make in order for us to enjoy our liberties.  She really listened to me and at night when the fireworks were exploding over the Cooper River... she said "it's like beautiful gunfire."  Wow... the rockets red glare indeed.




We spent the weekend with great friends and family... rocking out to old school Michael Jackson, eating fantastic food and enjoying our freedom !!
